Pretty disgusting that all price ranges are now for sale ... being a 10 year season ticket holder with tickets at center ice, being allocated crappy row 61 tickets in section O, then now seeing row 40 in section D, is really, really frustrating.

I wish I had sold my original tickets earlier like you did ... then I would have just bought the 4 together at the blue line. But, I was holding onto my tickets because I thought (and was assured by the Flames) that I would not be able to get better tickets without paying scalper prices.

I didnt want to be stuck holding $2800 worth of Heritage Classic tickets at one time, so I couldnt buy the good tickets. Long story short, I am still stuck with my crappy allocated tickets way off in the corner and a mile high.

Pretty ridiculous if you ask me. Give away all the junk to season/gamepack/hothouse holders and release way better seats to the gen.pop.

once again the people b!tch about the Flames and their ticket allocation, but fail to realize it was the NHL that has released these tickets, not the Flames...

I don't think there are many STH who aren't aware of that. My issue is that the Flames did not fight hard enough with the NHL to secure tickets for their fans.

How hard would have been for the Flames to do this:
- Secure all of these good seats.
- Send an email telling fans that they could exchange/upgrade their seats if they wanted to.
- Fans secure their new seats, and be required to surrender their existing tickets at the Flames Office to pickup these new ones.

All that could be done in a week; leaving another 10 days for the remainder of the tickets to sell. This isn't your standard "20 tickets have been released"- it's been over 24 hours and I can still get pretty good seats. Looking at what I bought yesterday there had to be several hundred in price level 1 (based on where available seats are now; with no telling how many more are still out there.)
