Beyond Scared Straight
Has anyone watched this series on A+E. I watched the first one, its basically a recreation of the original scared straight, but they took a bunch of teenage young offenders into a prison and exposed them to not only prison life, but they had to deal with hardened Inmates.
At the end of it they get judged by the inmates that have been working with them and if they look like they've learned something they get to go home, the others are threatened with a 72 hour stay.
Out of the group of I think 5 or 6 girls last night, 1 continued to be a problem and ended up going to juvy, the others turned their lives around.
Anyways, I thought it was an amazing show.
