Corvo and Volchenkov's contracts end at the end of the year, but I view Anton as more of a long term piece than Corvo would be.

Volchenkov just wasn't fitting in very well for me. I view Corvo as a very slight downgrade, but still an effective piece. He might also bring a little bit more offense from the back end.

Matt Clark is a real nice young D-prospect, a mid-2nd round pick in 2009. And I upgraded my draft position a little.

I think I am quite happy with my first deal as GM of the Oilers.
