Man. I love these shows(Winter Wipeout). I probably lol for serious through the whole thing. Watching people wipeout is super hilarious.
MEC is still the best but this one is pretty damn good also.

I don't get the fascination with waiting for people to fall down and then laughing when they fall down.

You don't look at the funny and cool picture thread very often do you?

I'm guessing there's something instinctive in our humanity that laughs at the physical destruction of others.

I don't know either but I cannot help but laugh out loud, a lot. These people just put a smile on my face. If I watched this when I was feeling down it would lift my spirits immediately

Hey, people are willing to do it for money. Greed (and need) is part of it, so that makes it funny.

MXC was hilarious! Is that still running in Canada? I miss it.

Wipeout is pretty funny at times, too. I've been meaning to catch the winter edition... thanks for reminding me!

It may be funny watching people "wipeout", but man, those announcers...just stick a gun in my mouth....they are brutal. All I could stand was about 2 minutes. Would rather watch plastic plants grow than listen to them.

Wasn't there a legal battle as the Wipeout Guys basically stole the entire concept of MXC (aka Takashi's Castle in Japan) without acknowledgement, liscensing, or royalties.

I wonder if any of the other monkeys and apes laugh at the misfortune of their brethren? That could be a fun research project for a primatologist...heck, that could be a fun project for anyone.

Idiot humor (watching idiots do idiotic things) is ok from time to time, but I really don't get the attraction to this show.

Between "Wipeout" and "Pants off, Dance off", I feel that we're only a couple small steps away from watching "Ow! My Balls!" marathons while slamming Brawndo.

I often wonder how some of wipeouts don't result in concussions and broken limbs. Hilarious none the less

Well.. if you have to THINK about it, it's not funny anymore.
