He had his best pre-season to date and was a victim of the numbers game, being waiver exempt.
3 points in the only AHL game so far and according to our own PMM is 'too good for the AHL'.
My guess is he'll slot in as the 3C with Bennett moving to Backlunds wing. But with Jooris in the box right now, there's a few possible scenarios.

Gaudreau - Monahan - Hudler
Granlund - Bennett - Frolik
Raymond - Backlund - Jones
Ferland - Stajan - Jooris
Bollig

I didn't get the chance to watch last game, but he scored and the other games Raymond has been pretty good. I'd like to keep him until he goes back to Mr. Useless. He's providing the much needed speed on the other lines that we need.

They were playing Bennett on LW at practice today.
Derek Wills @Fan960Wills
#Flames recall centre @GranlundMa from @AHLHeat. I expect to see @SBennett93 playing a lot more left wing.

And I suppose you could have Bennett take the draws instead of Granlund to offset that weakness.
Not that Bennett has been lights out or anything, but Granlund just wasn't cutting in the faceoff dot when he got sent down.

Raymond has been better lately but I'd still rather him in the press box over Jooris or Granlund

Will help the defensive side of our game. Bouma is all heart but his defensive game isn't as good as Granlund's defensive game.

I'm hoping that he is inserted into the lineup quickly. I'm a Jooris fan but I believe Granlund has more to offer on both the offensive and defensive side of the puck.

I used to be high on Granlund but I think is already close to his ceiling which is meh... Hope I'm wrong... I wish there was a better option in the A
