Unfortunately, I will not be around to do any PBP tonight. Hopefully someone else will be around.
For anyone else (I think Devo22 is probably the only one) from Europe or European heritage, enjoy your Saint Nicholas Day feasts!

I admit I never would've thought Culkin would be putting up the kind of numbers he has been this season. Very impressive.

Kulak was the better defenseman by a fair margin to my poor eyes all camp and in Penticton

Former Calgary Hitmen Chris Driedger will be in net tonight for Binghamton.
Trying to find out if the Flames skated this morning, however as it's an away game there isn't coverage from the Post.

Here's a little more about Acolatse. I liked what I saw of him in camp although making the NHL may be a long shot.
Quote:
“I had a couple teams come after me and felt that Calgary was the best fit — they liked me a lot,” said Acolatse, who spent three seasons playing for the Sharks’ AHL affiliate in Worcester. “I’m not going to lie — growing up in Edmonton, I used to hate the Flames, but that all changes now.
“I like what’s going on with this organization,” Acolatse continued. “I feel I can do a couple different things, and I’m going to try and show them the variety of what I can do — play physical, smart, get some shots through … just play my game.”

1-0 Flames 11 minutes into the first
Sieloff scored.
Really choppy feed so I don't know yet who had the assists
Edit: probably Setoguchi and Acolotse

To confirm, Flames' goal was Sieloff, his first professional goal! Assists to Acolatse and Setoguchi.
Senators' goals from Claesson and Puempel.
Thiessen in goal for the Flames.
Shots 10-7 Sens after 1.

Sens first goal was a bad bounce off of Sieloff in front
Their 2nd goal was a dreadful play by Thiessen in net.
Pretty even period - we got this.
