2024 NFL Fantasy Football
Drafts will be soon!
Advice please
I am in a 12 team, 2 player keeper league (standard scoring).
Keepers are not based on draft position.
All other rosters/scoring as usual
My keepers are not very good. Chubb from last season, etc.
Need to keep 2 of these
Nacua
Ayiuk
Adams
LaPorta
I also won the 'didn't make the playoffs' showdown, so will be drafting 1st OV but traded my 1st round pick for Adams in failed hopes of making playoffs. So 1st OV but then not again until 6th pick in 2nd round.
Your thoughts would be appreciated

Nacua is a keeper all day. Laporta I really like. I think he will have an even better year 2.

Yeah LaPorta should be TE1 or in the top tier for a few years so I'd keep him. I'd also keep Puka too although his production could slip this year if Kupp is healthier. But he's still a solid WR2 as a floor.
With Aiyuk's contract situation it's tougher to justify him over Puka, but he could have that big boom upside.

I'm picking 9th in my draft. Not a keeper league. Hoping Gibbs falls to 9th. He's such a weapon. Harrison JR might be my pick if Gibbs isn't available. I don't think Harrison JR will be around for my pick at 16.

I love fantasy football and am glad to see this thread.
10 team, PPR league with one keeper (costs you one round higher than previous season). I am keeping Breece Hall (costing me a 2nd). So planning on drafting a WR in the first round. I have pick six so there is a chance that RB Robinson is available, would you take him? Or stick with getting a WR - likely Brown.

If there are already 10 top players off the board and Bijan isn't one of them, Id imagine Bijan is a top 3 pick.

Of the five guys picking in front of me, three have RB keepers and 2 have WR’s. So I think there is a chance that Robinson is the guy that falls. To be honest I hope he is picked as that means I have another WR option.

There seems to be kind of a "set" tier list imo for the first 8 picks
1: CMC
2-3: Tyreek, Ceedee
4-8: Breece, Bijan, St Brown, Jefferson, Chase (no order)
Then the next tier of guys is AJ Brown, Gibbs, Taylor, Saquon, Puka, Garrett Wilson imo

Always seems like you can 'find' guys at WR. RB's are harder to find. There are maybe 12 top backs. At least 20 top receivers. I never count on guys taking receivers over backs. Which is why I hope, but doubt, there will be a top back not kept in my league, where 24 guys are off the board. But there may be...

I feel like RB you can find. I trade CMC in my keeper league, I don't think he will have a MVP season like last year. Injuries and he got married in the offseason him and OIlver will probably have a kid soon.

I'll be interested to see how Derrick Henry fares. Baltimore is still a very run heavy offence and recently have given their RB's a lot more goal line work. They got away from this in the AFC Title game and I think it cost them. Henry won't be getting 25 touches a game. But the 18 he gets with a much better team should be much better quality. Heard a lot of so called experts say he's a guy they're going at in round 2 if they go WR in round one.

Baltimore will be one of the nastiest teams to watch this year.

Henry could feast this year. Super Bowl or bust for Ravens.

No matter scoring format, Henry should be a lie end RB1 if healthy

I've got the 1.12 and 2.1 picks.
I'm torn on what to do. I like the idea of going WR/WR but it's risky not knowing if the RB's I like are gonna fall to 3.12 and 4.1.
Here's what I'm thinking are my options:
Option 1: Gibbs and Wilson
Option 2: Barkley and Wilson
Option 3: Wilson and Harrison Jr.
Option 4: Henry and Wilson
If AJ Brown falls to me(I don't think he will), I'm definitely taking him. I'm not a Nacua fan either, so doubt I take him even he's in that range on many lists.

We sort of run a half-dynasty league. Rosters are QB, RB, WR, WR, TE, Flex, Superflex, DEF with full PPR. You get 6 keepers but for this year can only keep a max of 2 at the same position. This is the first year we've had this many keepers. Usually it's around 2-3. As a result, I was able to do a fair bit of wheeling and dealing this offseason because much of the league hasn't keyed in on draft picks being less valuable than they used to be.
So right now, my roster looks like this:
QB - Hurts
RB - JT
RB - Saquon
WR - AJ Brown
WR - Jaylen Waddle
Superflex - Anthony Richardson
I don't have any picks in the third or fourth rounds as a result, so my depth might be tested, but that's a pretty solid group of starters.
