Default December 31 with a dozen games!

Good morning everyone, there are some morning/matinee games to start off the Tuesday New Year's eve OOT. It's a busy one and there's the Flames game too! So if you have the day off or doing a half day, start eating, drinking, and partying early!

An interesting game tonight with Bobrovski returning to Columbus. Too bad Korpisalo went down to injury in his last game. He's been lights out the last week or two. As it is, the rookie Merzlikins will be thrown into the fire.

Also OOT, Congrats to Canada on the Spengler Cup win.

Even MacTavish couldn’t screw this up.
Fucale 10-0-1 in Spengler Cup career, Canada gies up second least goals in tournament history and wins it 16th Spengler Cup.

Always a soft spot for these guy who don’t do it for the glory, and take their Christmas vacation off to play for their country.

Meanwhile, TSN, who broadcasts the thing, gives it disrespectingly a less than 30 second highlight package of the final, but they’ll have a 2 minute round table discussion piece if the backup goalie on Canada in the U-19 Championship sneezes.

Also, be interesting to see which team and player scores the final goal of the decade.
4 games on at 7pm MTN.

MacKinnon could have had three or four points in the 1st. Hellebuyck is the only reason this thing isn't well in control for Colorado.

These Colorado announcers are maybe the biggest homers in the league. They have done nothing but fellate the Avs non stop for the last hour.

Yes but tomorrow is only day 1 of 2020, there are 364 or 365 days yet before 2020 is completed, Then the 1's start again with 01/01/2011.

6-0 Oilers? Neal with 3 goals? Who knew the Oilers peak moment of the decade would be on the very last day.

Oilers getting 7 power plays to the Rangers 1, I'm guessing the directive came down from the league to get the Oilers a rare win and all the help they can get.

I wondered how the score could be that high without an inordinately excess of powerplays for the Oilers.

Meanwhile, in the Oilers game the Oilers have had 6 powerplays. When is the last time the Flames had 6 powerplays in a game?

Like how I didn't start counting my kids ages until their first birthday. When my daughter was alive for 6 months I'd just say "She isn't born until she's one".
