Tough decisions ahead as when these two come back as the Flames will have 15 forwards and I feel they've all been playing pretty well.

With so many forwards, I think the Flames can afford to trade a few depth players like Greer + Rooney if there is any market.

It'd be nice to even get some late picks for Greer and Rooney

Greer back to the Bruins as a depth piece for like a 5th?

Looks like he was wearing #62 in Vegas this year.

Did they not replace Greer with Maroon?

Duehr and Hunt are the obvious players to be sent down

Absolutely - has been a disappointing season for Duehr. Probably can still get a 7th for him as I think last season might have been a bit of an anomaly and I don't see him getting too many chances with the amount of forwards that can play for the Flames right now.

I'd also prefer the Flames kept Greer, but to add to that, I like Mangiapane's play this season except for him not being able to score more. All other aspects of his game I've been happy with. Can see him producing next year. Moving him now for "whatever" would be selling him at his lowest point, so I'd prefer the Flames keep him. Have him product next year and if it makes sense to move him out then due to younger guys needing spots, do it then.

I like Greer a ton but he's a UFA. Get something for him now and then offer him a deal this summer

If you can get something for Greer it's a no brainer
