Is it wrong that I am kind of rooting for the Coyotes? Not so much because I like the team, but moreso because I like the idea that the Pacific Division is generally competitive.
Also, in my idealized world in which the Oilers embark tonight on an epic 0-69-0 string of embarrassment, it's better that there are not more than one or two teams in the Division that cannot even find their own tails to chase.

Hoping the Cup champs can do us a favor tonight, but I'm not counting on it. They've been pretty mediocre so far this year.

In 20 years the Oilers have not a single ROW in Washington. They once won in a shootout in Jan 2015, but otherwise have not beaten the Capitals at home since 1997.

Copley is making me nervous. Looks shaky as hell.

Yet he looked like a brick wall against us.

So weird to realize that the Coyotes have allowed the fewest goals-against in the league, and by a fair margin.

LOL.
Washington scores and Quinn exclaims "And Oshie ties the game at 2! ... Uh.... It's 3-1 for the Capitals"

Oshie scores to make it 3-1, Oilers Pbp announces it tied 2-2. Projecting much?

2-1 Washington
Oshie scores, and the announcer yells "And Oshie ties it up at 2!"
LOL
Corrects it shortly thereafter...."ahhh 3-1"
(lol late to the party, but so funny you get it in surround sound x3!)

This reminds me of super obnoxious Gene Principe's brag ahead of the Oilers v. Detroit game on Saturday that Edmonton would be in first place in the Division with a win. They won, and remained one point back of Vancouver.

Lots of interference by the Caps and a lot of stick work by the Oilers.
