The Islanders-Habs and Sabres-Panthers are tied 1-1 and it is scoreless in the Devils-Hurricanes game all in the first period. The Islanders and Panthers need to win their games to stay in the hunt.

I kind of miss the Panthers old uniforms the dark blue in the dark red just worked really nicely together

They were solid, but I think the new ones have such a classic and timeless feel to them. Logo is much better too.
Sceviour with a goal on a scramble play after a horrible rebound from Lehner. 4-1 Panthers.

Panthers hold on to win 4-1. Some rough stuff to end this one against Buffalo.
Winners in 12 of their last 15 games. Just 1 point out of a playoff spot now.

No mention of the of the BJs-Ducks game? The wrong team won, but, it was a good game to watch. The Ducks took over in the 2nd period with 2 break away goals in 87 seconds with one of them being shorthanded, Anaheim won 4-2. Lots of shots as the BJs had 36 to the Ducks 35. The loss hurts Columbus as teams are closing in on the 8th place BJs.
No voodoo magic for Dubnyk, he was pulled after letting in 5 goals as the Wild suffered an avalanche of 2nd period goals, Colorado won 7-1. Scott MacKinnon gets 5 points and Varlamov stops 31 shots in the win.
The Knights lose again, this time 5-4 in reg time to the Senators. Burrows returns to action after his 10 game suspension and scores the GWG.
Taylor Hall continues his point scoring streak to 24 games, but, the Devils lose 3-1 to the Hurricanes. The win for Carolina puts them in a tie for the final eastern playoff spot.
The Predators were down 2-0 to the Canucks and came back to win 4-3 in OT. Jarnkrok scored the GWG and Mike Fisher returns with a goal.
The Jets hang on for the 4-3 win in reg time. Howard was the reason the game was close as he faced 42 shots from the Jets.
The Habs sweep their 2 game series with the Islanders as they won 6-3. The Isles are sagging.

Avs showing more mental fortitude in one night then the flames have all season. Maybe there's a 'duchene' on our roster dragging down our morale. Any guesses?
