Long story short my office chair was damaged in the dismantling and move to Sydney, I had a leap v2 I bought in Calgary from a used office furniture place. I loved it. Assuming I can't repair it, I need some suggestions for a chair I can buy online.
So many options out there for that price range. "Bells and Whistles" is another word for a chair that has basic adjustments to ensure you are sitting properly at your desk/wherever you are sitting. I could not imagine buying a chair without at least adjustable armrests. Allows, to find the most comfortable position which hopefully is also ergonomic. Height adjustment is also important. i prefer a mesh back as I am a heat machine.
See the link for many options at just one place. I would also check out facebook marketplace for your area. You may be able to get a very nice chair for way below retail.
Yeah I've had Staples generic mesh chairs a few times in the past and they were really comfortable.
Chairs are one of the things where I feel like cheaping out will just result in pain, and random chairs from the Internet seems like a great way to get painful chairs that may not even be cheap.
I watched quite a few videos from these guys last time I was chair shopping, they had some of the cheaper options in some of the reviews:

I’ve had it for a few weeks now and I’m happy with the quality and comfort for the price. I work from home twice per week and have had no issues with pain or discomfort and it seems to be quite adjustable.

Good timing on this thread. I was just looking at office chairs this morning. My neck has been real bad the past couple of weeks and I need to find something new.
Any recommendations for something that would specifically help neck pain?
I don’t know about neck pain, but I’ve gone with a walking pad and it’s great. It’s not something I can do all day and it’s somewhat task dependent, but it’s great and my back feels much better.
I didn't want to break the bank, so I went with the house brand from Source. I've been using this guy daily for 5 years and it's been surprisingly great. I was limited for options due to height, but this one goes nice and high:
