Really interesting year for Johnny and Monahan. How do they click with Simon (to start at least)? Leivo, Mangiapane, and Dube are all options for that RW spot too at various points if necessary. If Tkachuk/Lindholm and Backlund's lines are getting more of the difficult matchups, does it free up Johnny/Monahan to thrive more offensively?
Comeback Wins out tomorrow, Johnny Part 2 on Thursday.
Gaudreau has looked great in all the training camp media I've seen. Lots of jump and aggressive in his attacks. IMO he is world class with abilities only a handful of players have. Just pulls you out of your seat when he's feeling it. I enjoy all his videos because he's so fun to watch. Confident yet humble guy - mark of a winner.
Every time I watch one of AC’s Gaudreau videos, two things happen: One, I’m reminded that this guy is just a flat-out, all-world, elite-level talent — and two, I get pi***d off all over again at just how much opponents get away with against him.
Oh, and also ###### Corey Perry.

Gaudreau is one of very few players that a smart coach would just let go and forget about any type of system and let him play on instinct, don't make him think about anything except getting the puck and creating nightmares for opposing teams.
When he plays loose he is as dynamic as anyone in the league.

Agreed. And there are several plays in that video that show he has some great defensive instincts too. Stop over-coaching him and let him be Johnny Hockey.
I don't pretend to have any idea the amount of work AC must put in creating these for all of us to enjoy, but I know it must deserve at the minimum, a thanks.
Thanks AC!

My favourite highlight in Part 2 is when he sets up Buddy for his goal. He rushes to collect the puck, then brings it over to Buddy and just buries himself into him for a big ol' hug. Cool moment. Was fun being at that game - the whole Dome was chanting "Buddy" on numerous occasions.
AC - there is one of your Gaudreau videos where in a game against Nashville, Johnny shows such tenacious forechecking. He uses his body to seperate puck from man. I can't remember what season that was from. Do you recall what I'm talking about?
