I know theres a few of you out there. Who are you going to back this season? I couldn't really find anyone to back, so looks like I'll keep a close eye on the Nationals (why do I think they're the Generals?). I watch teams like the Twins and Jays in the AL, but for whatever reason I just like the National League. So hopefully the Greys can pull a few surprises and have a good year, but former spo GM Omar Minaya has certainly got himself some pieces in New York. Add in strong teams in Atlanta, Florida, and Philly and it looks like a tough division. Really tough now that the Nationals might try to field a winning team.

It will be really tough for the Nationals this year as the Marlins and Braves look like play-off teams and Philly will be tough. The Mets have made some good additions but stil have some work to be done. I think the Nationals will probably finish last in their division which won't matter to the fans as they will give the team at least one free year just because they will be so happy for the return of baseball.

Oddly, the Braves. Not really an explanation there either.

Looking at the Nats roster, I just cant see them going anywhere this year.

I dont follow the NL very closely, but I am kinda partial to the Astros.

the Tigers...but this is baseball's last gasp at holding my attention, I think. Other than occasionally checking the standings, I really don't care anymore.

The two teams I'm supporting this year are the Jays in the AL and the Padres in the NL.

I'm going to be in Toronto next month and I hope to catch the first-ever Jays/Nationals game. I'll wear an Expo hat.

I probably will root for the Nationals

usually when a team leaves for another city I don't pull for them when they move (ie Jets--Phoenix)

but the Expos had to move, they were dead in the water. so I harbor no ill feelings towards Washington

but they are going to be a bad ball club
