We should have a strike system....not having computer access for some unknown reason or having an emergency shouldn't result in a fine

Ya, there should be 2 free strikes and the fines start from 3 on...

In those cases the GM would not be fined. We will be reasonable of course. But we want to do away with the "i forgot stuff"

I have to apologize, I didn't have my lines in by 9AM but I believe they were in prior to the sim being run...or at least I hope they were.
For whatever reason when I read the season starts on Tuesday thread I read right past where it said lines by 9AM and was waiting on you to post a Day 1 thread. When I didn't see it I just htought you were busy until I finally decided to look into it.
It's not that I forgot, I obviously just can't read. I'm really good at getting things done well prior to deadlines so it shouldn't be an issue going forward.

Easy but somewhat time consuming way to do make your team schedule
Open an excel page
Put your team name and sched in the first row, and each row after will correspond to day 2 (row 2) etc throughout
Go to the schedule on the CPHL page
hit Ctrl + F or on the drop down menu Edit --> Find
Type your team name in the resulting dialog box. Hit next
That will bring you to your next game. Copy your game, and paste it into the corresponding row (say you play tomorrow, then that game would go into row two and so on)
Then hit next again, to find your next game and continue until you get sick of it (like I did) or you complete it.
Then repeat for your farm team.
That way you'll have an easy schedule for reference with what days you do, and don't play.

My internet has a max cap of 1GB upload/download ratio per month. (He roster file take me about 20 minutes to download because of my internet speed. Now that we have to send in two sets, it might be the breaking point for me as a GM. I will have to reassess my position in the league now as I think it is growing beyond my arctic living capabilities.

The problem with sending in lines for multiple days is what happens if there are injuries. Then the lines won't work.

Also remember we did say if you notify us that you can't get lines because of some of these challenges we will not fine you. But the effort needs to be made.

Have we seen any changes in AHL lines after putting in lines for CPHL games? (ie- If I do both sets of lines for my CPHL game on Monday, would I have to send in a new file for my AHL game on Tuesday, as long as my CPHL team is not playing on the Tuesday?)

^You would have to use the "copy lines" function to copy the farm lines in to the next day. We are discussing whether to allow use of that feature.

I think this is the key here. Hesla, if you can't get lines in for the weekend just let us know and the lines will be auto'd.
