Sesame Street has pulled an upcoming segment featuring chart-topper Katy Perry after receiving criticism that the pop singer's outfit is too risqué for children.
...
In the segment earmarked for the show's upcoming 41st season, the California Gurls singer chases Elmo, after the scarlet monster puppet spurns her request to play dress-up, and launches into an altered, cleaned-up version of her hit track Hot N Cold.
Perry, known for her saucy outfits, appears wearing a flowered veil and a yellow dress with a low-cut, bustier-style top (although a translucent, flesh-toned mesh covers her chest).
