Howcome you can't scroll over a thread title and see in a little box the first few lines of the thread. I've seen other forums do this and it helps you decide if the thread interests you or not.

Sure you could just click on it and read the first few lines but you are adding to the view numbers even though you are not interested in it. It's just something that makes the site better and adds to the CP experience.

CP used to have that... but I think when they switched the forum software that option was not available.

I liked it better when it had that tbqh.

Actually the software supports it, we turned it off at the time because it increased the amount of bandwidth required for every page view, and at the time we were counting every bit.

It's probably something that could be enabled now though, I'll check it out.

Thank you. I don't have to go into threads about ******'s or *******, anymore since I can read the gist of the thread, rather than going in and being tempted to post jerky things.

.....Is there any way that you can make this feature optional on a per-member basis? I can't really stand always having the little preview thing popping up when my cursor is just sitting idly by.

Why not scroll down the side, where your cursor won't illuminate the preview?

This is the most annoying thing since the MS word paperclip. Please turn it off, or make it a feature that can be disabled in the control panel. What use is reading the first post in a 60 post thread anyway?

Maybe a poll/survey to see what users want it, and what users dont?

I really dislike this when I'm using by BB to surf CP. Makes it impossible to even see the thread titles because the post preview blocks my entire screen.
