Default The Martin Jetpack

Hey all,

Didn't see this posted anywhere - hope it's not a fata. The last jetpack threads seemed to be back from 2007.

I want one.

Wow, uses gasoline. I would not have guessed that.

And about the price of a high priced car... Hmmm not bad.

Still, I can't see the practicality behind this, and it would be an expensive toy.

The Martin Jetpack is a unique aircraft and all owners are required to pass the Martin Aircraft Company approved training program before receipt of their aircraft.
Damn, I was just going to buy one, read the manual and wing it!

No kidding! Gas powered and for < $100k - if you had the $$$ - buy that instead of another sports car.

I have the same problem with this thing as I do with any sports-car alternative with 1 seat - where the F are you supposed to put your chick? You guys are missing the whole point to having flashy stuff!

Too bad jetpacks are only a couple decades late. Bring on the flying cars already...

Are you kidding? The last place I'd want a chick nagging in my ear is while I'm flying my jetpack.

Your neighbours would LOVE having that thing take off every morning at 7AM.

Although you could totally egg their house from about 500 feet up without them knowing about it.
