Ideas for surprise birthday party for wife

Always interested in the CPs ideas about what I could do for the wife's surprise birthday party.

What have you guys done as a surprise party for your wives (or seen done that looked good)

And we did hookers and blow last year so new (appropriate) ideas are appreciated...#preemptivestrikeftw

I will steal this idea from Sliver...inflatable furniture and a port-a-potty in your garage

Depends on our budget...

Tell her you've booked a trip... somewhere cool but not over the top (LA, Las Vegas, etc). Then on the date of departure she finds out (at the airport) that you're actually going to Tahiti!

Does she have a family member or friend that you can stand to be around and she hasn't seen in a long time you could fly out?

Here's what I did for my wife's last bday,
Lined up a baby sitter for the night
Made hotel reservations (same place we got married 5 years at carriage house inn)
Made dinner reservations at one of her top 5 restaurants

When all is set, Sneak out of the house and Check into the hotel room early, plant rose petals all over the room/bed ( can buy bags of them at Safeway) champagne and chocolate covered strawberries displayed
Take her for dinner, enjoy a great meal and a few drinks hit up a comedy show then surprise her with the hotel atmosphere
