Two criminals deported
The Canada Border Services Agency deported two Edmonton criminals earlier this week.They are barred from returning to Canada.
Chetan Kumar Puri and Elmer Marcelion Dollete were both deported on Dec. 14.
The borders services agency has removed 12 people from Alberta in the past month, spokeswoman Lisa White said.

A former convict who was raped and beaten while in custody at the city’s remand centre was sent back to his native India this week, despite fighting a deportation order for over a year and a half.
Canada Border Services Agency booted Raj, whose real name cannot be released under a publication ban, out of the country on Monday after he “exhausted all levels of appeal,” a CBSA spokesman said.
