Default Strange lump on my head

I've got this lump on the left side of my head. It hurts to touch it and it throbs throughout the day. I've went to the doctor about a year ago for this and he gave me some sort of liquid thing I apply to it.

Its been throbbing lately throughout the day. I know the best thing to do is call the doctor and make an appointment, I will do this Monday. Just wondering if anyone has anything like this or has heard of something like this?

That happens when you get into an argument with Reggie Dunlop. It's normal. I advise you to quit your haggling with him in the Fire On Ice forum.

If it's a lymph node, it might be serious. Go see a doctor, not a hockey message board.

Is it a boil or something else? As I said, if it's a lymph node, it could be something serious.

I've head the bump for awhile, its just tender to touch and from time to time throbs. Worries me that my doctor said around a year ago its nothing to worry about but now its starting to throb..

I'm not sure that there are lymph nodes on your head. Aren't they mostly in the armpit, groin and abdomen?

That's what I gathered from my quick search on google. There was no mention of anything on the head.

PS guys, i understand talking about stuff like this is something I should go straight to the doctor about but its just nice to hear if anyone else has dealt with something similar so I know what I'm dealing with before I can get into see the doc.

There's nodes all over your head. The ones you can normally kinda feel are behind your ears and under your jaw.

Do not do a google search. You are just going to freak yourself out and it could be nothing. Go to a clinic tomorrow, then book an appointment with your doctor.

Likely a pilar cyst. I had one on my head for 10+ years, finally when I wanted shorter hair, I went to the doctor and got it removed. Took 10 minutes!

Had you been overseas at all before you noticed it? Could be a botfly larvae.

Gross. I'd rather have cancer.

Mostly they are. There are lymph nodes up to the level of the bottom of your ear. All along your neck, some in and around your mouth and some at the back of your neck.
