Can these words be filtered and automatically converted to "Jay Bouwmeester" whenever someone types the above?

I'd be in favour of having a filter of these. However, I would much rather they be filtered to something that would mock the person that writes them, then encourage people to use it as shorthand.

Maybe if they were converted to "I have a mullet".

I’m always amazed these sportscasters and announcers can call the game with McDavid’s **** in their mouths all the time.

When we moved to the current forum software we lost the ability to have words automatically converted.

The only thing that could be done is adding them to the swear filter so the word never appears, but I think that would be even more annoying.

I for one like the abreviations and the nicknames add to the community of the site. The writing on the website is not formal so imformal nicknames should be left alone.

Bah - your too sensitive. I could see it if you were confused who they were referring to, but those all seem pretty clear. It's just short hand.
My favorite handle though would be - (in the words of Harley Quinn) - Meester Jay.

I still want to know who this 'Singe' poster is, and why his thanks count for two thanks. I really want to know!

*For reference, check the first post in this thread.
