I may be gay, but I do not see how anyone could find her attractive.
She has been seeming a little less stupid lately in interviews, but it still confounds me to see her so popular amongst voters. I am all for a strong willed gal who likes to go out hunting and drink beer, but combine that with the knowledge base of a 3rd grader...
This is a strange move though.

If she really is deluded enough to believe she has a shot at the Republican Presidential Candidate in a few years, this is the stupidest thing she could do.
She's now a quitter through and through. Didn't even finish her first term as governor. Back to the PTA and driving kids to hockey for you.
Palin said the decision to resign had been in the works "for a while" and was based on prayer and talking with her husband, Todd, and their five children.
If she is running for president, this is exactly what the Republican party doesn't need.
The GOP should focus on learning from Bush's mistakes, creating sound economic policy and ditching the Religious Right.

I'm no fan of hers and found it scary that she could be a serious candidate for VP of the US but she got beat up pretty badly by the press and other politicians (rightfully so) and after the euphoria of the race, she's got to be pretty low right now. Like the title says, god I hope she's done.
When a politician resigns mid-term, it's a pretty solid bet that there's a scandal involved, and I highly doubt this is any exception. Her resignation makes no sense at all otherwise, especially if she was planning a run at the presidency in 2012.
There's a rumour circulating on the internet that she's about to be hit with a federal indictment concerning embezzlement.

Okay, I've now been able to get independent information from multiple sources that all of this precedes what are said to be possible federal indictments against Palin, concerning an embezzlement scandal related to the building of Palin's house and the Wasilla Sports Complex built during her tenure as Mayor. Both structures, it is said, feature the "same windows, same wood, same products." Federal investigators have been looking into this for some time, and indictments could be imminent, according to the Alaska sources.
