Default Nutritional info for a chicken..

I know. It's a weird request but I can't seem to find the info through google and figure there's someone here who has to know what I'm looking for.

I need the nutritional information (calories, protein, carbs, fat) for a whole roasted chicken about 1.2 kg or 3 pounds in size without the skin. I can find lots of places that tell me the info for 100 grams of it but I don't know how much of a chicken, by weight, is edible.

You could just strip off all the meat, weigh it, and then do your calculations based on the 100 gram numbers no?

I don't have a scale and it's too late for that.

And if I did, I'm too lazy to do that.

Are you going to eat the whole chicken? Why not slice and dice what you are going to eat, weigh it, then do the math?

I don't think you will find the information you are looking for because each chicken is goinf to have a different amount of edible chicken.

A whole chicken by weight yields 1/2 the original weight in edible meat, or a bit less if it has the broth added feature.
Don't know how reliable that is though.

Nothing important to add, but Costco sells Chicken legs, by far the cheapest chicken alternative out there. Just strip off the skin and fat and you are good to go.

I thought this thread was about being afraid to ask for nutritional advice.

Well since you are slimy and bright lime green I thought you may be one of the lizards I see around here.

CO-OP sells those roasted chickens. Call the deli and ask them to read the label on the package to you.
