Yeah, this is always the case people use when referring to "frivolous US lawsuits" but once you know the whole story then perhaps there was some merit to the case.
Unfortunately, I find that reading deeper there usually is good reason why some of these cases get these awards. Judges aren't stupid. People who re-tell the story and leave out important parts to mislead and prove a point are the problem.
