Can these be transferred from person to person?

For example: Can my grandfather send me his air miles? Or would he have to book flights for me? I am not sure exactly how they work.

It would be easier for him to just book a flight for you I think.

If you have a corporate card they do transfers but i don't think they do from person to person.
