Default Home theatre system in a box

http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/p...9&sku=A1656241

ANybody have this system? I have a newer Bravia TV and would love to get a home theater for it. I am on a limited budget, so the price is right for sure. I'm just wondering if there are any thoughts from experts?

Can someone explain the limitation of having only 1 HDMI port? Is this something I even need to worry about?

Home theatre in the box sets are usually lower grade stuff that companies mass produce and bundle together but for the average consumer, I find they are perfectly fine.

The HDMI port is for plugging devices into the reciever and then out to the TV. If you only have one DVD/Blu-Ray player for example, that's perfectly fine but if you want to hook up another thing via HDMI like a game console, etc. you might have to go with another method.

Basically, for the price, the DAV-HDX275 is a decent system. If it has the specs you're looking for, then I'd go for it.

Read this short thread for a bit of a feel for the product (pros and cons). There are a couple of positive reviews at the bottom after some of the warnings near the top.

The limits of having only one HDMI port isnt that big of a deal anymore. HDMI port switchers are only $120 compared to the $300+ they were a year ago. I think they come in 4 ports, so if your TV or Stereo is limited in HDMI, this is a somewhat cost effective solution.

Now that I look, Dell even has the port switcher on sale aswell
