Hey the sex and drug trade is a vital piece of the Canadian economy.

Let me illustrate.

Joe Blow buys a $50.00 hooker from Pimp Daddy Frosty. She gets to keep $10.00 which she spends on smokes, $7.00 of that goes to taxes which allows the governments to continue to stimulate other segments of the economy. Meanwhile Pimp Daddy has 20 girls in his stable, so he probably makes a couple of thousand dollers a night. Of course he stimulates the retail sector by buying his snazzy suites, he also needs his wheels either a fancy SUV or a Caddy so he stimulates the car industry. He needs to feel his hoes which stimulates the fast food industry, and he needs to buy condoms for his girls which stimulates the pharmaceutical and rubber industry. On top of that he and his girls have raging drug addictions so that stimulates the drug industry which leads to the same scenario with drug dealers except they do more to stimulate the fast food industries.

Meanwhile they keep the cops employed and paid so the cops can spend money stimulating the economy.

Its all one big stimulating stimulus.

Reconfiguring the American banking structure to look more like the Canadian model would help restore much-needed confidence in a beleaguered financial system. Why not emulate the best in the world, which happens to be right next door?

All those years of the Canadian Charter Banks complaining that they couldn't complete with the rest of the world. They're looking pretty solid right now.

I think he should look at the way the smaller banks in the US operate as well.

None of them are having any of the problems the bigger banks are.

Do you have a source for this? Not being a dick just asking. It is my understanding there are about 2500 banks on the watchlist for going insolvent. Sorry I don't have a link. I am a hypocrite.
