meh its only a one off thing in london.

doubt jimmy is in any capacity to tour anymore. he's about two steps away from having full on dementia if you've seen any of his interviews in the last 5 years.

hard to 'reunite' when one of them is dead.

still, if the eagles and the police can do it, why not led zep too.

Shun him...SHUN HIM!!!

Admittedly, Zep is overplayed on the classic rock stations, but I would never call them overrated.

Fantastic musicianship IMO.

BTW, J pold, the ghost of John Bonham shall visit you in your sleep at an unspecified time in the future...enjoy.

to an extent I agree. Obviously they play their instruments very well but I often like other band's songs better.

Meh, I'm a Floyd fan.

What stations are these? All the classic rock stations in this city don't play them enough, IMO.

I for one I am ecstatic about this. One of my favorite bands of all time.

And they are not over rated, they are rated correctly. That rating is epic by the way.

Icarus, I guess I should have said that the classic rock stations play too much of the same songs by Zep. Heartbreaker/Living loving maid, Whole lotta love, Stairway to heaven, Black Dog, All my love(worst Zep song ever, imo), Kashmir...yeah, haven't heard enough of those...

How about more No Quarter, Achilles last stand, Nobody's fault but mine, In the evening and the like? Is it too much to ask to play some of the lesser known tunes??

I hardly listen to terrestrial radio since I got my Sirius anyway.

I saw Led Zepplin in Vancouver while they were on the Physical Graffiti tour. The first couple of songs were so loud that I almost couldn't stand it (and I like loud music). Then after that it got much more tolerable (as far as loudness). The concert was great. After I got out of the Pacific Collesium, I realized why they weren't as loud after the first few songs - I barely could hear anything. My hearing did come back eventually, but it has never been the same since (and that was in 1975).

Sweet .. I guess.

I mean, I love my Zep -- a lot -- but reunion shows ... ugh.

If in fact they are getting back to together to tour that would be a fabulous thing. As for being overrated, that is just assinine. In my opinion they rank up there with the Beatles and the Stones.

I hate this.

Led Zeppelin had their time. They were great, in their time. It is no longer their time.

I don't like these reunion things. I dunno. Just my opinion.
