Anyone else have the opportunity to check it out? What did you think? The Hell's Angel's presence made me sick. The $25 to get in the doors also was hard to swallow. I guess my opinion on the event is quite clear.

I enjoyed it. I've every year for the past 5 or so I think its been 5. This year was better than last years because Kat Von D was not there. Very irritating last year, it was jam packed and most were just there to get picture with her.

My girlfriend and myself ended up buying a lot of stuff (prints etc.).

Maybe my perspective is different from most I've got about 50 hours worth of work done on myself and have no intention of stopping anytime soon. I had actually just missed the medium color contest yesterday. Myself and my GF both have very good artists (hers is up to a couple years wait, and mine used to have about a 3 year wait time).

But there were some very good artists there, and some were less than mediocre.

$25 at the door was steep just to walk by a few booths and check out some flash. After an hour we were fine and took off, don't really care for shirts with skulls on them and my girl didn't like any of the slutty clothes.

It's been a few years since I've been, looks like I'm going to wait a few years before going back.

Hmm guess we differ. Picked up some great art, personally I don't find t-shirts and corsets all that slutty myself... Guess there were some shorter dresses and stuff there some costume type clothing too I suppose... Meh.. I skip the flash and look at the artists work..

But I will agree that $25 is expensive to get in. It used to be alot cheaper when it was in the Westin hotel a couple years ago. I imagine the building is expensive to rent out and they have decided to try and bring in "celebrities" from those stupid tattoo reality shows....
