Default Bell Pvr

I called futureshop and i wanted to know how to rip stuff off your pvr onto a dvd, the guy told me i could hook up a wire or something to the back of my pvr and into my computer, but then would have to download some sort of drive or w/e it's called, i can't even figure out what wire and where i would insert it .. please help!!

It's possible to do a direct transfer (ie same speed if you were to watch it). I don't know any of the details though. digitalhome.ca forums would be your best bet.

I don't know how you would do it directly but for myself I went and spent $90 on a DVD Player/Burner and just have the feed go through the DVD Burner to the TV.

I put the HD feed directly to the TV for quality and then use the 2nd feed to go to the DVD Burner.

I have my Bell PVR hooked up the same way Hoot mentions. There isn't a way to directly hook it up to a computer.

YOu need a video capture card for your computer. These have only been able to download SD until recently. Hauppauge has come out with a HD card with component inputs, if you're interested. Here it is.
