anyone catch the premier of this show? i scheduled it for my PVR out of curiosity since it's the first Canadian show since Due South to be aired in the states and i was quite impressed. production, acting, and scripting were all excellent, not like a lot of the Canadian shows i remember seeing when i was a kid. only problem i see with it right now is "it's just another cop show", they'll need to find someway to make it standout as unique if it'll have any staying power

Corner Gas and DiVinci's Inquest (i think that's what it's called) is shown on WGN. But I believe you are refering to a top 4 prime time slot.

Yeah, I wanted to see this one. The preview for it looked pretty good. I hope they re-air the pilot.

It was pretty good, a bit of a different twist on a traditional cop show as it's a SWAT team. It had a real moment of "whoa!" at the end of the hostage taking.

Being critical there appears to be a couple of cliches they are setting up for:
- Hard nose, stoic team leader shows signs of cracking.
- Brash new guy hits of female team member who shuns him at first but you know eventually they'll knock boots.

Hopefully those formulas aren't directly followed or are played in subtly.

Any similarities to the FOX drama "Standoff" that was cancelled last season.

For anyone who missed it, you can watch it on CTV.ca.

Alright, after catching it twice on tv, I am now watching the episodes online. I am really enjoying it. But I think part of it is because I used to idolize Amy Jo Johnson who played the pink ranger. And as far as I can tell (I'm watching my third episode right now) I still totally idolize her.

I'm really happy that this is Canadian content so that it can be archived online. I've got a really erratic work schedule so this makes it easy to keep up with shows.
