Default Small Business Accountant

I am looking for a referral for a small business accountant.

I am looking to set up a small consulting business (Me) as well as the dayhome my wife is running.

I'm trying to get an idea of monthly fees taxes etc....

I have an idea of what I will be making just need to know how much to pay out.......

Have a lot of questions...........not many answers right now.

My wife is looking into picking up a few small clients.

She is on maternity right now, but we are faced with the the decision sooner than later, of whether she goes back full-time or picks up some income doing part-time accounting (she'd definetly prefer to stay home, if we can find the clients/position).

She has doen this type of accounting for a firm(during her work experience in university), so if you want to contact her, PM me.

If anyone else is interested in a part-time accountant please PM me and I'll have the wife contact you and/or send a resume.

I'll keep it in mind. I'm gonna keep track of it myself for the first year and then look for an accountant come year end.

If things get too complicated I will scream for help.

Your account would likely be quite small (not too complicated), so if my wife goes the accounting route (rather than, or addition to, dayhome) she might be able to help you out as well.

Her maternity runs out in Jan, so that's the ideal time for her anyway, she is basically thinking, if it comes up now, take it....it may not come later!

Keep us in mind.
