Huh, I guess it wasn't oregano.
Restaurant owner accused of dealing drugs to high school students
http://calgary.ctv.ca/servlet/an/loc...ub=CalgaryHome
27-year old Piotr "Peter" Krol has been charged with four counts of trafficking marijuana, two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, and three counts of proceeds of crime.
Officers seized $546 in cash, a debit machine, and 38 pieces of student identification from the store, and around 50 grams of marijuana and $825 cash from Krol's home.
Krol owns "Your Choice Pizza" located at 2838 Morley Trail N.W.
Anyone here eaten there? Did you happen to eat more than you normally do and find you had a thirst that was quit difficult to quench when you finished?
I wonder what the debit machine was for. If that was his method of distribution that is pure genius, well, not pure, he got caught. He is a pothead though, so you know he didn't completely plan it out...

I'm guessing that the debit machine was just for use at the pizza shop, but since that's where the bust was made the cops can confiscate it.

No but I used to live just around the corner from it on Cochrane Road.
It's more or less directly opposite William Aberhart High School. Would be packed with school kids all the time.

JB: A what?
KG: Ten dollars worth a *weed*. Now Listen: Go down to Wake & Bake Pizza, ask for Jojo. Tell him you want the Bob Marley Extra Crispy. He'll know what you're talkin' about.
JB: All right dude, roger that. One Extra Crispy comin' up!

well that's annoying. In my younger crazier days my buddies lived half a block from that place. Had we known there was a hook-up a stones throw away it would have saved us a lot of trouble!

I graduated from Aberhart this year, and it was pretty well known that this guy was dealing out of the place. The story I heard was that if you left him a $10 tip on the debit machine, he gave you a dimebag. I don't know how the guy thought he was going to get away with that.

I used to eat there when I lived in Charleswood, but that was 5ish years ago. Pizza was good.
Thinking back some of the conversations make more sense now:
- I'd like a large pepperoni and mushroom
- What kind of mushrooms?
- What do you mean 'kind of mushrooms'?
- Nothing, never mind. That'll be $12.
OK, that never happened.

I think your dealer has been selling you parsley.
Oregano looks a lot more like dope than parsley.

Dried oregano (like you buy in stores) looks quite a lot like 'shake' (crummy bits of weed fallen off buds...). The smell can actually be somewhat similar and its pretty easy to mix into some crappy weed and sell it to a unknowing highschooler.

Yup, I think the dry parsley is a closer match though.

But who puts parsley on a pizza? You can at least make a case for Oregano, but not parsley.

I thought we were just talking about which one most looks like weed, I once knew a guy who sold magic mushrooms while driving for the Tower of Pizza.

Creepy, I'm at Abe. No wonder all the druggies spend ALL of their time over there, geesh.
As I think about it though, I'm having a good laugh, especially after seeing it on the news.

And if you burn oregano, it smells very much like pot. Makes for a fun practical joke. (Actually just trying to remember if it was oregano or basil- one of them smells like pot burning.)

I can only guess but maybe he let kids buy dope on credit, and took their ID so they would supposedly come back.
