Default Roadtrip

well it's that time of year again, we're in roadtrip season. I'm doing a short jaunt up to Halifax and back over the next three days.

It kinda snuck up on me. And I'm doing all my packing the night before. Just wondering what I may be forgetting. So I'm proposing the question besides let people know I'm coming (HD I did message you on MSN, if you're around supper at the Moustache on Thursday night)

What should I be bringing? I've got a list of stuff I need to pack in the AM, I want to know if I'm forgetting anything. What would you be bringing on a small road trip?

. . . in fact anyone on CP who is in Halifax on Thursday night that wants in on steak at Your Father's Moustache by all means come, the more the merrier, I'll be the drunk, lany, glasses wearing, Cape Bretoner, just walk up to a random large group of people with an absurd amount of people eating steak and say "the sky is blue" and I'll respond "and the C is Red"

When going on a road trip all all you need is ID, your debit card and a credit card.
Let the rest sort itself out.

I've been on a few car roadtrips recently, and have found the following to be essential:

*sunglasses
*flip flops
*passport
*Gold Bond powder and Wet Wipes (in lieu of showering and to combat sweat/odor)
*iPod, with standup comedy routines on it

I'll see what I can do. I have to pick up my brother-in-law at the airport tomorrow night, just don't know the time yet.

I saw your PM, but wasn't at the PC when you sent it.

Stock up on jerky. It's a necessity. Also, my buddy has a GPS for when we go on road trips and it's invaluable. Got us out of a few jams when rolling into a town at 9:30 at night and looking for a hotel...
