Default Cooking Lessons?

So my buddy is touring South America with his wife, and she's always wanted cooking classes/lessons. He's been having trouble trying to set it up, and her birthday is coming up in the next few weeks and has asked me to help him out as people aren't getting back to him because he's in god-knows-where Brazil.

Anyone have some experiences with this? Good ideas? Places to stay away from? SAIT? Good? Bad?

Thanks in advance.

Depends on what kind of classes they're looking for. SAIT has many, varied classes. Chef Malley is a fairly good instructor so if you any listed with him it would be a good bet.
