Everything works perfectly, and this is the expensve 80GB version that also plays PS2 games. I paid $499 for it and it still sells for that much today.
I'm selling it for the same price as a brand new 40GB one.
So... you save $100 of the retail price AND you get a $30 remote control, a $40 PS2 game and a $160 hard drive upgrade.
Note: The hard drive upgrade is perfectly legit and is supported by Sony. They even make it easy to do via a little hard drive slot on the side of the console.
This console has not been hacked or modded, and has had nothing done to it that would damage it or void any aspect of it in any way. It's even running the absolute latest firmware (2.41).
The only reason I'm selling it is that it's just too easy to rent a game from Rogers and send an entire weekend vegging out on the sofa. I'm actually trying to move in a different direction, if that makes any sense.
