What makes this story is the kids reaction. I'm a pretty liberal guy, who thinks you can talk, explain, and reason with children as long as you have been consistent with them in the past. But this kid needs a good whooping and I still can't believe parents don't have the right to spank anymore. I mean it's not something I'd use often if ever, but in situations like this... wow.

The grandmother is in the report, but not the mother. Maybe the mother is a complete deadbeat and this is how things got this out of hand?

I don't think it would be fun to do bad things if he were diciplined properly. I probably shouldn't call the parents out with so little evidence, but dammit those people must be doing something wrong.
