This is a new documentary by Kevin Booth, which critically examines the failed US War on Drugs and documents exactly how the CIA imported cocaine and fueled the crack epidemic in LA during the mid 80's. It makes a compelling case that relies on expert testimonials from ground troops on the front line in the WOD. It is an engrossing movie and I think everybody should watch it.

Even without that documentary....the War on Drugs is ridiculous.

Imagine how many billions they'd save by legalizing certain drugs and taxing the hell out of them.

The best commentary I've seen on the drug war is The Wire.

That show makes the drug war look absolutely idiotic.
