Default Anybody here fix old TVs? v-hold gone?

So I've had like little 15" TV set that I've used since I was a kid in the 80s and it's always had this fantastic picture quality until recently, it looks like the v-hold has gone and there's a horizontal bar and the screen is shaking up and down. There's no v-hold controls. Did anybody use to fix old CRTs back in the day? Is a broken v-hold fixable or might it be something like a capacitor or image stabilizer going? I really love this old TV, it's been with me for years. It's perfect for just watching Flames games beside the computer.

I have fixed many TVs with this problem. Stand in front of it facing the screen. Raise your arm to eye level and clench your fist thumb pointing up. Bring your arm down rapidly while bending your elbow until your fist comes into contact with the top of the TV.

But seriously, maybe the v hold is inside the case somewhere? I remember having a TV that had the dial inside one of the vent slots.
