Has anyone visited Chile?

Hi,

Yesterday at 11 am i got to know that I am traveling to Chile for a month, leaving tomorrow. I guess i am pretty tied up in work, but if I ever get some time off, is there anything I would need to know? I'll be going to southern Chile, near Concepcion. It will be my first trip and first flying experiece to anywhere (I like Finland too much to leave) so any traveling tips are also appreciated.

It was +34 C there the other day. I have a co-worker from Chile, but all I know is what the temperature was there. I am just guessing that is slightly warmer than Finland this time of year, but who knows. Have fun!
