Donating Furniture - To Who (or is it 'To Whom' for you grammar police)

I want to get rid of a kitchen table and chairs, a couch, and a desk (All in good condition). Is there any charity groups I could donate this stuff to that would come by and pick the furniture up?

Try phoning Iterfaith , the Women's Shelter, Homes for Humanity.

Phone your local church. They might know of a needy family who could use those items.

Goodwill. Or ask around at work, sports, wherever. Someone always seems to need an extra table or dresser.

Speaking of, anyone in Edmonton need a dresser? I've got 3. No charge, just pick 'em up.
