No offense, but maybe this is better suited for the Off-topic board. It's not really a Calgary Flames or NHL-related discussion.

He loves the Leafs so he's pretty much dead to me.

I find him really arrogant and annoying on TV, but I've met him in person and he seemed down to earth and amiable. And really short.

Yeah, he comes off as a self-absorbed, "I'm the King of TSN" slimeball, but in terms of his sports insight, willingness to delve into difficult topics, and what he gets out of his guests, he's actually quite a talented sportscaster.
And like Juvy mentioned, there are so many idiots on TSN/SN/Score that it's hard to pick out a guy in the middle of the ladder when there are about a dozen beneath him that they should just kick to the ground. Lifeless.

And when he talks his ears wiggle. Once you notice that you can never again watch OTR without being bothered by it.

No kidding ... that drives me nuts. The guy is an alien. I think he's from the Planet of Reptilian Media Types.

I loved him on Little House on the Prairie.
And Highway to Heaven was sappy, but OK.
Leave him alone!

Michael Landon is dead isn't he? I thought Bonanza was his best work. Speaking of Little House, I hear that Melissa Gilbert grew up to be quite the little tramp. Shocking!

I think in the first few years, 80% of his guests were wrestlers. I guess it has gotten a bit better.
I want Landsberg to fight Cabbie.

Being married doesn't stop some people from playing the field. I've heard from a guy who does work on movie sets that she plays the field pretty freely and loosely.

You media guys....
And of course, ever since you mentioned her I've had the closing theme song running through my head.

I could never get into this show and I think Landsberg has something to do with it. Pretty much every sports show host is an ego maniac. But something about his consistent interrupting and "I am always right" attitude makes it unwatchable for me. Plus he looks so weird that it freaks me out looking at him. He would fit in just fine as a henchman from Dick Tracy.

Haha yes! Ive been saying this for years and have never, ever had even one person agree with me before. The show's ok(when its not ridiculously overflowing with pro wrestlers as guests) but Landsberg's just always bugged me for some reason. He seems like some outspoken guy that's a total nerd but thinks he's the man.
btw did someone mention he's short? That's surprising, he looks like a pretty big guy on TV. Must just be the upper half...

He's a bit of an oddball but OTR is not a bad show. He does ask some good questions and isn't afraid to throw jabs at guests.
He does better than most would do in his position. I can tolerate his quirks for the results he gets.
