Brutal story. Woman goes to the hospital Oct 29/04 when she realized she could no longer feel her baby girl inside of her... 5 1/2 months pregnant.

Read for the rest:

Hopefully, this is the exception rather than the rule...

I can see how that would suck, but if there are no beds, then there are no beds. What are they supposed to do? Kick somone out with a life threatening illness?

BTW, it is not uncommon for a woman to have to carry a dead baby until she goes into labour natually because of certain risks inolved in inducing labour.

Well what other options are there, just have her sit in a hospital bed and take up room for someone who could actually have a medical emergancy. You know what I would suggest refering her to a crisis worker and councelling, but there is no need for her to take a hospital bed.

I agree with Flames Addiction and MMF. The hospital staff are professionals. They aren't just going to send her home if she really needed a bed. That lady must think the world revolves around her. Jeez!

It is very, very, very obviously an exception.

Unless you can think of another case like this happening...
