Are there any areas within city limits you can park and hookup an RV? North side of the city, relatively close to Center St. and 16th Ave.

I've done some google searching, no real luck. Everything I find is for campgrounds out of the city or RV dealers.

Well, there aren't hookups, but I seem to recall reading somewhere that most Wal-Marts will let you park in their lots overnight for free. And I seem to see more RVs at the Wal-Mart by my place as I drive by at 6:00 am than I see at 5:00 pm.

Not sure if that helps you at all; or if you consider the Wal-Mart experience to be really "camping."

I'll mention that, might help. Parents of a friend are coming to visit, they have a Suzuki Sidekick to get around but need to find a place relatively close to the city for the RV.

Any nice places just West of COP on the Trans Canada?

Isn't there a KOA campground out by COP ??

Behind that wedding place I think...

Callaway Park has a campground next door but it may close soon with the Park Season ending and all..

There's also a park just north of the city in Balzac (I think it's called Whispering Pines) and one out by Chestermere, and don't forget the NW with Simons Valley Ranch...
