It was better than the 2nd.
it was LONG, but didn't feel as long as the 2nd one.
Too many stupid plot twists.
Action sequences seemed like they were reaching - trying to be epic but instead just snore inducing.
Too many characters.
Not worth seeing again IMO.

Dead Mans Chest was one of the worst movies I have ever seen. The plot and dialogue were confusing, obviously due to a script thrown together in a couple weeks after the first one proved to be a huge success. It was only the second time in my life I ever wanted to leave a movie theatre and I've seen em all, the best of the best and the crappiest of the crappy.

In short I would rather stick an unlubricated curling iron in my butt and plug it in than see this movie.

Obviously you haven't seen Prospero's Books.

Dead Man's Chest was a mockery after the first one's witty charm. It was bloody terrible. The CGI or whatever was cool after seeing the octopus guy the first time, but it got old. The plot was as thin as Nicole Richie, and as dumb as Paris Hilton.

"Curse of the Black Pearl" FTW!

that sucks, I heard that even more sequels were in the works, but that Johnny depp had not signed on for em, so they were going to do them without him. I was really looking forwards to seeing them

Just saw the movie. It was terrible, and 165 minutes too long.

Fell asleep in the movie.
The effects were obviously great, but the story was totally ridiculous, they had about 7 thousand actors who did absolutely nothing and again, it was 100 minutes too long.

Just got back from Eau Claire, I saw one dummy carrying a sword and some chick with a pirate hat. Never again will I go see a movie on opening day or within a week for that matter.

I dunno man, I like seeing big stupid action movies once in a while but in this case I didn't care enough about who was making a deal with who, and who was going to backstab who, I started zoning out and thinking about what I was going to make for supper tomorrow and some things I needed to finish up at work. The bit they gave Keith Richards was alright, but I thought they would do a bit more with it. Still cool to see him on the screen though.

I liked the first two better.
