Default JT bringing sexy back to golf

I was driving home and listening to the fan960 just a little while ago and when I heard this I started laughing out loud...I think the person in the car next to me thought I was kind of crazy cause they gave me a funny look. But apparantly Justin Timberlake is getting so good at the greens that he wants to try to get into the PGA Tour. I think it's funny bordering on ridiculous, first he goes into acting and now golf. I guess that if he does eventually get into the PGA they'll be guaranteed a new audience. What do you think, real or publicity stunt?

Hahah the dude is reportidly a 6 handicap, that means most rounds he is struggling to break 80. Give a me a break JT, there is not a hope in this world you could make the PGA tour.

well... if he thinks he's good enough, then why not try out?

If he's as good as he thinks he is, he'll get in. Most likely, he'll just return home to his mansion dejected and somber.

Buddy's got no reason not to...I say all the power to 'em.

That said, a 6 handicap is probably 10 strokes away from where you need to play consistantly to be on tour. Not to mention the way PGA courses are set up would rape most 'good' casual golfers.

I am about a 6 handicap as well and there is NO WAY I could even come close top competing on the PGA tour. A 6 handicap has a lot more work to do to make the PGA than a 30 handicap does to break 80.

Unless he takes his Millions and focuses soley on golf and hires the best coaches in the world there is no way it happens. A 6 handicap is light years away from the PGA.

Just for reference, I believe Golf Digest once worked Tiger Woods' handicap out to a +10. You've got a long way to go JT, and you're just getting into the hardest part.

Well, they did model a character after him in Tiger Woods '05.

I believe he was called, "The Hustler," and his golf balls were painted in that of an 8-ball.
