Did you guys think the first two were anything special? I mean, aside from the cast of characters I thought they were incredibly average. Even below average. Maybe I'm in the minority, but once I got past the "star power", I found the actual movies disappointing.

Loved the first one, have watched it many times. Thought the second one was weak at first view, but have watched it many times since and like it a lot as well. I think Soderbergh does a great job with the style and music in both of them. Especially in Ocean's 12, he chooses great music to set the appropriate mood. The music in 12 is awesome.

I don't think anything about the movies is really spectacular, but I do really like both 11 and 12. Mostly because the characters are really well done.
I can't see this one being any different, as it's he same people playing the same characters.

I haven't see Ocean's 12, but 11 was one of the best paced movies I have ever seen. the way that explanations of events happened simultaneously with the events really kept it flowing. It's a movie that just feels like its always moving at the right pace, and doesn't get bogged down with excessive special effects time wasting scenes.
This one looks to be more on par with 11, 12 was kind of weak. What makes the movies for me is the chemistry of Clooney, Pitt and Damen. They're hilarious.
Edit: I just noticed the fake nose they putt on Matt Damen's character. Nice.
I enjoyed the first one because I felt that it kept true to the simple coolness and fun of the original with Sinatra and the rest of the Rat Pack. It wasn't about great filmmaking it was just about having fun. I was skeptical when they announced the second one and didn't really like it at first. But after watching it a few times it started to grow on me because the characters make the movie so much fun. Now with this 3rd one having Al Pacino in the mix is going to make this a lot of fun. He's always puts on a great performance IMO, regardless of the role. The only problem I see with the third one is that it's going to have Celine Dion in it playing herself. I'm sorry but I just can't stand that woman.
