Webcam help
Hey guys,
So I don't post all that often but as I continue to lurk, as I did before my foray into posting, I've come to realize the talents of many of our posters.
I have a project that I conducting for one of my classes at University. Without boring you with too many details, basically I'm going to conduct a sort-off speakers corner, where random and not-so-random people can spout off on the topic.
Now, I have managed to procure a webcam(albeit a HORRIBLE one) and a mic. What I need is a capture software which will caputer these videos. Now I'm hoping people will be willing to talk for up to five minutes, so there is the issue of the size of each capture as well.
THEN after all this, I'm still going to need to be able to string the clips together and of course, edit out the "garbage".
Basically my question is, what software does the vast knowledge on this board know of that I can use to do my capturing and editing.
