Bears Fan Changes His Name to Peyton Manning
What kind of person does something like this? Easily the weirdest sports related story I've seen in the past year. He even justifies the decision as a "sacrifice"
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,250652,00.html
Idiot.

Yeesh.
As my handle suggests, I'm all about being a sports fan. But at some point you have to take a step back and say "that's not what's putting food on the table around here." In the end, sports are, well... just sports.
I guess this guy is just showing us the fine line between "fan" and "moron."

He's probably just seeking the attention he'll get from such a stunt. Some people will do anything for their 15 minutes.

This is the aftermath of the story and the guy telling the reporter he wasn;t sure why he did it.

I bet he picks up a lot of girls by telling them he's Peyton Manning. 6'5 225 lb quarterback...LASER ROCKET ARM!

OH. MY. GOD.
... and I thought Bertuzzied having to change his handle was a little much. It probably is a good thing this guy will never reproduce.

If he truly wanted to sacrifice, as a Bears fan, he would've changed his name to "I love the Green Bay Packers".

I think the much more humiliating name change would have been to "Rex Grossman".

Hey, you did change your CP handle! Can a name change be far behind?

I challenge anyone to try and read that story without grabbing your junk just to make sure the boys are alright.
